PATIENTS at Royal Blackburn Hospital can be styled during their stay thanks to a new salon in the foyer.
Hairdresser Rubina Walker opened the salon, in the hospital's business units, just two weeks ago but has already been a big hit.
She said: "People might think it's a bit strange to have a salon in a hospital, but the patients, visitors and the staff all love it.
"When someone in the family is ill you don't always have time to do all the other things you would normally do, and it really helps both the patients and their visitors feel better."
