    Accrington boss stands defiant

STANLEY boss John Coleman has hit back at the controversy surrounding the club, insisting: "I know I've done nothing wrong."

The club hit the headlines at the weekend after several bookmakers refused to pay out following the Stanley's 2-0 home defeat to Bury.

An unusually large amount of money was put on Bury to win, sparking an investigation by the Gambling Commission and The Football Association.

But Coleman was bullish in the defence of his club.

He said: "I know I've done nothing wrong. As far as I'm concerned, I can sleep easy at night. But I don't like the club being besmirched, so to speak.

"It just seems to be any time there's an opportunity to fling mud at us it gets flung.

"In the past, when there have been stories like this, it has always been an un-named club'.

"If ever there's a chance to have a pop at us, people do."

sounds like all the clubs scousers are feeling the long arm of the law closing in..Eric Whalley needs to sack Coleman and all his rubbish Liverpool based sidekicks NOW

Its not about being pro or anti scouse, the focus is on finding the culprits. While colemans tactical limitations have been obvious this season, his achivements for stanley have been top class

Keep going Mr.Coleman. Forget all the negative press and doubters in the stand, the majority still believe in your ability to get us further up the league 2 table next season.
A great manager of a world famous club.

Coley is an absolute legend but its time to stop being Sentimental, beacause that mentallity is going to see us relegated. At times this season its been obvious that he has ran out of ideas. Its sad but he sould realise that he is out of his depths and leave of his own accord because it would be a shame to to 'sack' him.

What constructive comment that was. What have they got to do with the article, indeed anything football related. Stanley regularly punch above their weight, something which Rovers do each year. It wasn't too long ok your club was struggling with low crowds, poor stadium etc etc and then you got Uncle Jacks money and now have a decent set-up.

As we don't have that we will carry on doing what we do, with or without Coley. Why knock us for it?

    Muppet!!!

Blackburn have gone as High as they can go. They don't have the resources to break into top 4. When Hughes goes as is inevitable Rovers will have only one way to go....down. Come and join us !!

bluenwhite you're a disgrace to all true Rovers supporters. That's the sort of attitude Man U football inadequates adopt.

We need to be thankful for Uncle Jack and respect other clubs that haven't been so lucky!
