TV reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) is despatched to a fire station with a cameraman Scott (Steve Harris) to make a behind the scenes segment on daily life for these brave men and women.
The TV crew shadows Jake (Jay Hernandez) and Fletcher (Johnathon Schaech) throughout the night, excitedly jumping in the fire truck to answer a routine 911 call from an apartment block.
No sooner are the fire fighters, Angela and Scott, inside the building than agents from the DCD (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) seal off the exits, preventing anyone from getting in or out.
