It might not be cheap but to quote the phrase a certain store uses in its adverts this isn't just any Chardonnay, this is one of the very best Chardonnays that South Africa, or anywhere in the southern hemisphere has to offer. It's rich, sumptuous, bursting with pear, melons and other fruit flavours as well as a little oak but still dry.
Not heavy but strong on alcohol at 14.5%.
