Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with a broken jaw following an attack this week.
Lancashire Police say that the victim, a man in his 30s, was ‘seriously injured’ in an attack in Haslingden on Tuesday, October 3.
Police say a group of young men approached the man outside the Black Bull Hotel on Blackburn Road at around 11pm.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “One of the men punched the victim on the jaw before the group left the scene.
“The man suffered a broken jaw and has undergone surgery. He remains in hospital in a poorly condition.”
Lancashire Police ask for anyone who witnessed the attack or have CCTV footage of it to contact 101, quoting log 0175 of October 4, 2023, or by emailing 4172@lancashire.police.uk.
They are also asking anyone who was in the Black Bull Hotel prior to the assault and has information to contact them.
