A car veered off the road and landed upside down, after being driven by a learner driver who was unsupervised in Haslingden
A provisional licence holder was travelling along Grane Road when the incident happened on Tuesday (November 7).
They were driving without supervision and without displaying a red L plate.
No one was seriously injured but the driver was reported for offences.
Today (November 8) officers have been out on Grane Road to ensure motorists are driving safely.
A spokesperson for Lancs Road Police said: “RTC yesterday when a provisional licence holder with no supervision or L plates, drove along and off Grane Road in East Lancashire.
“Luckily nobody was seriously injured. Driver reported for offences. Today we have been out on Grane Road conducting roadside enforcement.”
