‘Two of a kind’ prizes for East Lancashire students

TWO best friends have received special awards at Blackburn College’s care, health and public services presentation evening.
Kelly Webb, 18, of Ballantrae Road, Shadsworth, was presented with a certificate for ‘The Best Health and Social Care Placement’, and Jade Ashurst, 18, of Cambridge Road, Knuzden, received the ‘Cadet of the Year Award’.
Both undertook work experience placements at Royal Blackburn Hospital
