Performers show talents at Luther Greenwood Festival

FAMILIES turned out to see a range of performances by talented youngsters at the annual Colne Luther Greenwood Festival.

As part of the event, singers, dancers, instrumentalists and actors competed for trophies at The Muni, on Saturday evening and other classes began at 9am.

This year’s soloists included trumpeter Kristina Deakin, woodwind player Emily Green, brother-and-sister pianists Natalie and Nicholas Howley, singers Evie Rapson, Charlotte Waters, Lauren Rigby and Chris Harrison, and speech and drama performers Christine Leathley and Laura Arkwright.
