COUNCILLORS will discuss proposed traffic calming measures for an area of Colne at a forthcoming meeting.
The plans for traffic calming in the Venables Avenue area are on the agenda of the next meeting of Lancashire Local Pendle.
Lancashire County Council’s draft budget will also feature, along with parking restrictions in Oxford Road, Nelson, due to the Pendle Vale College development.
Lancashire Locals aim to provide a way for local councillors to influence decisions, ensuring any changes to services are made in the best interests of each community.
The Pendle committee is formed by councillors from Lancashire County Council and Pendle Borough Council. The meeting takes place at Barrowford Civic Centre, in Maude Street, at 6.30pm, on Wednesday.
