THE WET and windy conditions failed to deter dozens of families from attending Fence Open Gardens this weekend.

The event, which took place on Saturday July 19 and yesterday, involved around 10 outstanding gardens being opened to the public.

Green balloons were used to line the gardens and a range of refreshments were available throughout.
