Chorley Harriers recently held their annual awards evening to celebrate the achievements of their young athletes during 2007. The overall winners of the club's Junior Grand Prix were Ella Crabtree and Mark Brown.

In the age categories, the winning U11s were Harriet Jackson and Adam Cooper, while Charlotte Platt and Oliver Whamby took the U13 titles. Whamby was also voted Best Improved Athlete for 2007.

Tammy Campbell not only won the U15s award, but took the Performance of the Year trophy for her cross country triumphs. Alison Fowler and Stephen Wadge were the U17 winners.

Club Achievement Awards went to U11s Adam Cooper and Megan Adamson, and Oliver Whamby and Holly Flewitt in the U13 division.

The honours went to Ciaran Downs and Sophie Broome in the U15s and Alison Fowler in the U17s. Imogen Crabtree was voted Athletes Athlete, and Merit Awards went to James Shuttleworth, Thomas Booth, Jessie Scott and Alice Alcock.
