St Mary’s has designed flexible day time and evening degree programmes which allow you to combine your studies with work and family commitments.
The evening degree courses run from 6pm – 9pm on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening. The classes are delivered by Liverpool Hope University lecturers to ensure rigorous university standards and extensive support is offered by the St Mary’s Degree Team of link tutors.

BA Degree programmes for full-time evening study include:
• BA (Hons) Education and Special Educational Needs
• BA (Hons) Early Childhood and Education
• BA Honours: Business Management We also offer, through the University of Central Lancashire, two Foundation Degrees which incorporate both college and work based learning. The delivery of these programmes requires you to attend classes for two days a week over a two year period.

Foundation Degree programmes for full-time daytime study include:
• Foundation Certificate in Health and Social Care
• Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care (Rehabilitation Pathway)
• Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care (Social Care Pathway)

St Mary’s Nursery at St Mary’s College and St Mary’s Nursery at Wensley Fold have both been graded OUTSTANDING by OFSTED.

The facilities offer full and part- time care for children aged six weeks to five years old. The nurseries are able to provide free education sessions for some three year olds and all four year olds.These sessions can be flexible and will support the varying needs of parents and carers.

Each nursery benefits from a qualified Early Years Professional who takes the lead on the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage. They support and advise the practitioners in relation to appropriate child and adult-led activities and the documentation of children’s learning and development.

St Mary’s Nursery at St Mary’s College is an established Early Years setting which has been operating since September 2003.

This spacious, purpose built nursery provides excellent facilities, including a separate, fully equipped baby unit catering for babies from six weeks old. The open-plan toddler and preschool rooms offer many resources and equipment for an exciting, stimulating and child-led environment. The outdoor area is large and secure, with permanent climbing and balancing equipment which allows children to enjoy physical and social activities.

St Mary’s Nursery at Wensley Fold Children’s Centre opened its doors in January 2008.

This nursery facility is situated within the Children’s Centre and again, provides excellent facilities including a separate fully-equipped baby unit and open-plan toddler and preschool room. All areas contain engaging resources and appropriate equipment to ensure the children attending are happy, stimulated and are given the best foundation for their learning. Each unit has its own secure outdoor area with exciting features to encourage physical development, imagination and social interaction.

St Mary’s Nursery at The Pavilion, Corporation Park became the third successful site to open in June 2014
